Moonfleece
An abandoned home, A lost brother, A secret love story.
Families and friendships are splintered by the politics of race, sexuality and money as a new generation encounters a world torn apart by the adults.
A young ensemble cast is directed by David Mercatali (‘clearly one to watch’ – Time Out) in this compelling, personal new work by Evening Standard and Time Out Award-winning playwright Philip Ridley. In the run up to May 2010 elections and in light of the rise of the BNP and recent events in the UK economy, this is a vital, relevant and compelling story for young people from all backgrounds and the country as a whole. A controversial play allowing you to be overwhelmed by the actions and issues on stage and then an opportunity to discuss the ideas and themes of the show with the cast at the post show discussion.
